Terms
Before you book.
What you are buying, what you are not, and what happens if the day cannot go ahead.

What you're booking
You're booking my time for a day, or a few hours of one. That covers Korean taught as it comes up during the day, interpreting at the counter and the table and the ticket window, the photos and video I take through the day, and the prep pack before you arrive.
I'm not a travel agency and I don't run tours. I don't book anything for you, and nothing you spend on the day goes through me.
What you pay for yourself
Food, drinks, coffee, transport, entry tickets, shopping — you pay for those as we go, directly, the same way you would on any other day. The same goes for anything added to the day, like a clinic visit or a restaurant booking: you book it, you pay them.
My fee covers my time and nothing else. Yours too — I don't pay for your meals, and you don't pay for mine.
Booking and payment
Sending the form books nothing. We trade messages, settle the date, and then I send a PayPal invoice.
The date is yours once the invoice is paid, in full. Until then it's open to anyone else who asks for it.
Cancelling
I run two of these a month at most. Once your date is paid for, it comes off the calendar and nobody else can have it, however far ahead you booked. That's what the refund terms are about.
- 30 days or more before the date
- 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before
- No refund
Dates can't be moved — please book a day you're sure of. If I have to cancel, for illness or an emergency or a typhoon, you get everything back, or we find another date, whichever you prefer.
Photos and video
I film quietly through the day. You get every photo and every video as original files, through a private link: photos within 3 days, video within 14. I delete my copies 90 days after that, so download them.
Rather not be filmed? Tell me before the day and we'll shape it without the camera.
Putting any of it on my site or social media is a separate thing. I'll ask you after the day, you can say no, and you can change your mind later.
