Before I hosted anyone
I've been the foreigner, too.
Twelve countries, before I ever hosted anyone here. I bought the famous things — the meals, the tickets, the souvenirs to carry home.
I can barely remember any of them.
What stayed was a conversation. Someone telling me what they actually thought about their own country. An afternoon that was on nobody's list.
That part never came with anything I paid for. So I built a day that is only that.

About
I'm Rok. I've lived and worked in Seoul for thirteen years — long enough to have eaten my way across most of the city, one lunch and dinner at a time: the alley spots, the counters locals keep to themselves, the places you only ever find by actually living here. I teach Korean to people all over the world through Rok Academy, but this is the offline version — not a lecture, just a real day with someone who knows this city by heart.
Who runs Haru
Haru is a service of Harmony Medlink, a registered travel agency in Seoul — your booking and invoice are with them. The day itself is hosted by me, Rok, with a small team around me. Whoever hosts your day, you’ll know their name before you pay.
